HPP at the 2014 Health Systems Research Symposium
The Health Policy Project (HPP) is pleased to participate in the Third Global Symposium on Health Systems Research in Cape Town, South Africa, September 30 to October 3, 2014. The symposium brings together researchers, policymakers, and implementers from around the world to share knowledge and best practices in health systems research. This year’s theme is “the science and practice of people-centered health systems,” which encourages participants to work together to ensure that health systems can meet the varied needs of individuals, families, and communities.
HPP will showcase its expertise in health systems research, including our work in governance, health equity, health systems strengthening, health finance and costing, and complexity science. HPP staff will be integrally involved in the symposium, hosting two high-level satellite sessions, and delivering a number of oral and poster presentations. A full calendar of HPP’s activities is available here, and in the link to our full conference schedule on the top of this page.
The HPP communications team will be covering the conference all week. We’ll be blogging and posting on social media throughout the symposium, so be sure to keep your eye on our Twitter and Facebook accounts and the HPP website. You can also check out our media hub, included in our conference portal, above.
